Snow leopard or ak ilbirs – one of the most mysterious and not enough unexplored animal of wild life. Ilbirs it is not a simple beast – it is a symbol of impregnable and majestic mountains of the Kyrgyzstan, Ilbirs one of the main indicators of healthy of highland ecosystems.
There are only 12 snow-leopard countries. (Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan).
Currently, the world population of snow leopard is extremely threatening and today it is necessary to change the this situation and immediately make decisions on conservation of snow leopards.
In order to conserve the population of snow leopard is necessary to coordinate of efforts of all snow leopard range countries. The threat of extinction of snow leopard must be an object of attention of international community, and conservation of this animal – it is a common responsibility.
